On December 4 and 5, AMU and the Ocean Science Institute-AMU were delighted to welcome numerous members of the European Ocean Research and Education Alliance (EOREA) to Aix-Marseille University for two days of events.

🔹 EOREA Networking (December 4): a dynamic meeting at AMIDEX Canebière, where researchers, experts and institutions exchanged views on key issues such as pollution, biodiversity and coastal adaptation to climate change. We were particularly inspired by the pitching sessions, highlighting innovative projects linked to Horizon Europe 2025 calls for proposals.

🔹 EOREA Executive Committee (December 5): a strategic day at the Pharo to take stock of collaborative research and education projects (CREPs), explore Erasmus opportunities and prepare for major upcoming international events, including UNOC and the One Ocean Science Conference.

These two days illustrated the importance of Internationally-focused collaborations in tackling today's environmental challenges. Many thanks to all those involved in advancing marine research! 💙
