CALL FOR PROJECTS: "SUPPORT FOR INNOVATION AND PEDAGOGICAL TRANSFORMATION IN OCEAN-LABELED TRAINING COURSES".
The Institut des Sciences de l'Océan (OCEAN), as part of its mission, supports innovative transformations in teaching at Master's, Master(e) and Doctorate levels, which will enable us to effectively meet today's challenges in ocean sciences.
In this respect, OCEAN, using its AMIDEX allocation, is launching a call for funding to support TIGER actions for innovation and transformation in education, which aim to strengthen and enable :
- the link between research and education
- internationalization
- links with socio-economic sectors
- interdisciplinarity
This OCEAN-specific funding may ultimately help Master's programs to obtain TIGER accreditation. Another parallel objective is to help strengthen links and collaboration between existing Masters programs (with a view to increasing interdisciplinarity), PhD programs and platforms attached to the institute. The call for proposals comprises two separate but interdependent funding programs.
- Program 1: Support for existing Masters programs in OCEAN's thematic field
- Program 2 : Support for the creation of new interdisciplinary training programs in OCEAN's thematic field.
For full information on this call for proposals, please download the framework text.
Presentation of the call for projects
Target audience / Eligible candidates
This call for projects is open to all national "M" level degrees (Masters, engineering degrees or Mastere(e) attached to AMU's Ocean Sciences Institute. The proposed actions are also intended to benefit PhD students from the doctoral schools attached to the Institute. Masters course leaders are invited to examine opportunities to support their pedagogical projects, particularly with regard to the new mock-ups for the start of the 2024 academic year (see section 3 for instructions). OCEAN will support the reinforcement and creation of explicit collaborations and gateways enabling the mutualization of courses between existing Master's courses, so as to offer students in one course the possibility of choosing a number of UEs from other courses, with a view to mutualization and/or interdisciplinarity.
and/or interdisciplinarity.
OCEAN-funded UEs should be integrated into the new curriculum, shared with other OCEAN master's programmes and open to continuing education, to ensure their long-term sustainability.
Internships are not eligible under this call for proposals, as OCEAN offers a specific call for proposals.
